LSU got in touch with me today concerning their graduate architecture program. It’s really nice to hear back from them. The professor in charge of graduate studies writes:
Our program is aimed specifically at students like you who have an undergraduate degree in a field other than architecture. We do not require a portfolio, but we are especially interested in seeing one from students with a background in the visual arts. You should include those items in your portfolio that you are most proud of and/or that your teachers praised. We are particularly interested in seeing representations of your freehand drawing abilities.
And I counted up all the classes I have left until graduation… eight. Eight classes over the summer and fall until I finally have my BA in Fine Art with a mathematics minor. I can hardly wait.
